To strengthen employee welfare and fulfill corporate social responsibility (ESG), AmTRAN Technology organized a private screening of the movie “Dear Black Sheep” on January 25, 2025, inviting all employees to watch this heartwarming and touching film together. Through the movie-watching experience, colleagues were able to experience emotional release and inner healing amidst their busy schedules, while also encouraging colleagues to build warm and supportive interpersonal relationships.
“Dear Black Sheep” focuses on the journey of life, guiding audiences to contemplate the power of faith, companionship and love through characters facing illness and challenges. Chairman Alpha Wu also personally shared his own cancer journey during the event. He mentioned that after being diagnosed with cancer more than ten years ago, through surgery, traditional Chinese medicine and tai chi recuperation, his recovery has gone well to this day. “As the movie says, you must believe in yourself. When facing illness, you must bravely accept it and adjust yourself. I’m glad I’ve made it through these 16 years. This experience has helped me cherish even more, and I’m grateful to all those who work hard for cancer patients.”
AmTRAN Technology has long been concerned with employee physical and mental health, through organizing positive and meaningful cultural activities to echo and practice the United Nations SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being”. In the future, the company will continue to be people-oriented, promoting more corporate culture practices that integrate care and growth.
